LELAND, Miss. (WJTV) - There will be a joint news conference held on October 16, 2025, to address the mass shooting that occurred in Leland, Mississippi, that killed six people.
Multiple law enforcement agencies will take part in the news conference, which is expected to start at 1:00 p.m. at Leland City Hall.
The FBI previously announced that four suspects were arrested on October 13, 2025. Teviyon L. Powell, 29; William Bryant, 29; and Morgan Lattimore, 25, were charged with capital murder. Agents said Latoya A. Powell, 44, was charged with attempted murder.
Agents announced Terrogernal S. Martin, 33, was arrested on October 14, 2025, and charged with capital murder. He received a $1 million bond.
