Angela Maxwell has joined American Health Partners as vice president of TruHealth, its clinical services division.

Maxwell has more than 20 years of health care leadership experience with a strong track record in clinical operations and strategic growth.

She most recently served as senior director of clinical operations and strategy advancement at Humana’s CenterWell Senior-Focused Primary Care Clinics. She has also held senior leadership roles with Fusion5, Cardinal Health, GE Healthcare and Baton Rouge General Medical Center.

In her new role, Maxwell will guide the expansion of TruHealth Clinical Services. Her focus will be on advancing proactive, coordinated care to improve outcomes for long-term care residents across all payor sources.
