Week 7 was our first objectively bad week of the season here on Betting the Big Ten. In our defense, who could have seen Northwestern beating Penn State outright? We also had far too much faith in Michigan State and the Wisconsin defense. On the week we went a putrid 2-7, bringing our season total to 34-32-1.

Week 8’s only ranked matchup occurs between…USC and Notre Dame? That still doesn’t feel like a game involving a Big Ten team. Elsewhere, Michigan hosts Washington in an otherwise uninspiring slate of games.
