NILES, Ohio (WKBN) - Niles police are investigating after a vehicle hit two houses in the city.

It happened around 1:12 p.m. Thursday on Cherry Avenue, near Bean Street.

The porch roof on one of the homes collapsed.

Police say the driver was at a nearby drive-thru, backed into a car behind it, and pulled out of the convenience store when it lost control, went across the road and hit the houses.

No one was hurt.

Police say the driver was taken to the police department for further investigation.
