Law enforcement officials in Philadelphia have announced the arrest of a 27-year-old man from the city's East Oak Lane neighborhood and charged him with murder in the death of an off-duty firefighter that happened on Wednesday.

On Thursday, police announced that Isaac Zayas, 27, of East Oak Lane, has been apprehended and charged with murder and related offenses in the Oct. 15, 2025, death of 56-year-old Antonio Rodriguez, who was killed in a home along the 4700 block of Shelmire Avenue early Wednesday.
