Renowned for its breathtaking views of the city's skyline and beaches, it serves as a recreational hub for swimming and boating, as well as for cycling, running and strolling along its Lakefront Trail.

But beyond its stunning beauty, Lake Michigan is a vital resource. The third largest of the Great Lakes by surface, it's the sole source of drinking water for more than six million people.
