MI5 boss ‘frustrated’ by collapse of China spying trial

The head of MI5 has said that ‘Chinese state actors’ present a national security risk to the UK ‘every day’ and that within the last week the security services had launched an operation to counter a threat from Beijing.

Only hours later the housing secretary delayed a decision on allowing China to build a new embassy.
