On Thursday at 2:04 p.m. an updated frost advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid for Friday between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. for Cayuga and Oswego counties.
The weather service states to prepare for, "Temperatures in the upper 20s will result in frost formation."
"Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left unprotected," states the weather service. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."
