BATON ROUGE, La. (KALB) - Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry has officially called the State Legislature to an extraordinary session to consider the election code, dates, deadlines, and plans for the 2026 election cycle. The session will be held at the State Capitol from October 23-November 13, starting at 2 p.m. on Oct. 23.
