Chandigarh ( Punjab ) [India], October 16 (ANI): Newly elected Rajya Sabha member Rajinder Gupta on Thursday expressed his gratitude to the Aam Aadmi Party ( AAP ) and the people of Punjab for entrusting him with the responsibility. Gupta emphasised that he would abide by the party's decisions and work towards meeting the people's expectations.

While speaking to reporters, Gupta said, "I'm very grateful to the party ( AAP ) and the people of Punjab . I've been given this responsibility. I'll start fulfilling it. I will work for Punjab 's prosperity, peace, and harmony...And whatever the party dictates, whatever the people's expectations are, I'll try to live up to them..."
