With Halloween coming up in just a couple weeks’ time, Strathcona County RCMP have reminded parents and children on how to stay safe during the scariest night of the year.
Make costumes as bright and visible as possible so that drivers can see children.
Carry a flashlight or a glow stick.
Use face paint instead of masks to have as clear of eyesight as possible.
Stick to sidewalks and visit one side of the street at a time, steering clear of zigzagging across the street.
Stay outside and never enter a home or vehicle.
Travel in groups or with a parent or guardian.
Strathcona County RCMP and Enforcement Services wishes everyone a fun and safe Halloween night!
