The B.C. Lions are red hot and there is reason to believe their temperature will continue rise.

The Lions (9-7) host the Edmonton Elks (7-9) Friday night at B.C. Place looking for a fourth straight win. A victory assures the Lions a spot in the CFL West Division semifinal and further strengthens their bid to host that postseason game with two weeks left in the regular season.

Friday’s game is also slated to mark the return to the B.C. lineup of right tackle Dejon Allen. He was one of B.C.’s prized off-season additions, a former CFL Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman award winner and two-time Grey Cup champion the Lions landed in a January trade with the Toronto Argonauts.

Allen has been sidelined since B.C.’s third game this season, needing surgery to repair a triceps injury. Starting
