MARTINSBURG - The local cross country teams gathered at Poor House Farm Park on Wednesday for the Eastern Panhandle Athletic Conference Championship.

When it was all said and done, the Musselman girls and Jefferson boys teams conquered the challenging course, earning EPAC team titles.

On the girls side, the Applemen swept both the team and individual titles.

The team competition was tight, as Musselman finished with a score of 46 points to place first, with Washington close behind with 51 points. Following them was Hedgesville (65) and Martinsburg (71), while the Cougars and Spring Mills had incomplete scoring.
