Hampus Lindholm made the trip to Las Vegas with the Bruins , but he’s not quite ready to slot back into the lineup just yet.

Coach Marco Sturm told reporters the defenseman remains day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Lindholm, who returned to practice Wednesday, won’t play in Boston’s game against the Golden Knights on Thursday.

Lindholm was injured in the Bruins’ home opener against the Chicago Blackhawks. He played six shifts before exiting the game.

The extent of the injury is unknown, but Sturm noted it was minor and that it was not related to the knee injury that kept Lindholm out of game action for most of last season.

Jordan Harris , who’s been filling for Lindholm, will skate on the second defense pair on Thursday along with Andrew Peeke.
