Ace Frehley, co-founder and lead guitarist of rock band Kiss, has died following complications from a fall, according to his family.

Frehley, known as “The Spaceman,” helped define Kiss’s sound and look through the 1970s and beyond.

Frehley and his Bandmates were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.

He was 74.
