LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (KCTV) - A cleaning crew member trusted with after-hours access to a Kansas movie theater now faces 2 years of probation for stealing equipment.

The Leavenworth County, Kansas, Attorney’s Office says that on Wednesday, Oct. 15, Theresa M. Steeno, 43, was sentenced to spend 2 years in prison. She was previously convicted of two counts of burglary.

Under a plea agreement, Prosecutors indicated that Steeno’s prison sentence was suspended. Instead, she will serve 2 years of probation.

Court documents indicated that on July 3, the Leavenworth Police Department was called to a downtown movie theater with reports of a theft.
