SANDY — Three people were arrested Wednesday in connection with a shooting in Sandy that left a man dead on Monday.

The Sandy Police Department said all three people were juveniles who investigators believed were involved in the homicide.

The department said police did not believe there were any more outstanding suspects.

Sandy PD previously announced the victim in the shooting to be 39-year-old Josh Pectol from Sandy, and said the shooting happened around 8:20 p.m. on Monday near Sandy’s Main Street Park.

The police department said it would not immediately release any more information about the suspects because they were minors.
