Lansing — Dozens of prominent lobbyists, politicians and businessmen could be called to testify in the upcoming trial of two former Michigan House staffers accused of embezzling political cash, according to a new court filing from Attorney General Dana Nessel's office.
Last week, Nessel's team submitted a list of more than 80 names of individuals whom prosecutors said they "intend to call" as witnesses at the trial of Anne and Robert Minard, two top employees of former Michigan House Speaker Lee Chatfield, R-Levering.
