MCLENNAN COUNTY, Texas — Another Central Texas county has declared a burn ban as dry conditions continue.
McLennan County is the latest of numerous Central Texas counties to declare burn bans this October, joining other counties like Bell, Brazos, Hill, Navarro and more.
The McLennan County Commissioners Court issued the burn ban on Thursday, Oct. 16.
In addition to the county-issued burn ban, McLennan County is also under a Red Flag Warning Burn Ban issued by the National Weather Service. A Red Flag Warning Burn Ban prohibits any burning in unincorporated areas of the county.
