EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- The Texas Department of Transportation has released a list of road closures that may affect your commute, including a 48-hour road closure starting on Saturday, Oct. 18, on Interstate 10 in West El Paso.

I-10 Widening West

Saturday, Oct. 18 through Monday, Oct. 20, from 5 a.m. to 5 a.m. (48-hour weekend closure) • I-10 EB at Redd Rd. closed. • I-10 WB Left lane from Mesa to Redd closed. Detour: Traffic will exit at Redd and take South Desert to Mesa. • Detour: Traffic will exit at Redd and take South Desert to Mesa.

Crews will be removing Portable Traffic Concrete Barrier, striping, painting Thorn Bridge/Rail, and opening EB ramp to I-10 after Thorn and the existing EB Mesa on ramp.
