GLENS FALLS, NY (NEWS10) -- The Adirondack Thunder are just days away from taking the ice in their season opener. It's a new year with a new coach for the Thunder as the organization looks to bounce back from a disappointing 2024-25 campaign.

Year one under Sylvain Cloutier will start on Sunday, October 18th, with a trip to face the Worcester Railers. The Thunder are coming off two wins in the preseason, outscoring their opponents a combined 6-1.

It's been a long preseason for these players, with some even taking part in camp with the organizations higher level affiliates. This team is chomping at the bit to play one that counts towards their record.
