CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinois men's basketball just a couple weeks away from the tip off of their regular season but before that a preseason exhibition game against Illinois State.

The Illini are welcoming the Redbirds to the State Farm Center this weekend.

Brad Underwood also announced before the season that they would also have a closed door practice game against the reigning champs Florida.

And the team thinks both of these games will help show where they will stand for this season.

The Illini and the Redbirds take the court Sunday afternoon at the state farm center. Tip off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
