New Delhi : Three days ahead of Diwali, the air quality in the national capital on Friday remained at ‘very poor’ levels with Air Quality Index (AQI) mark crossing 300 in many areas. The overall AQI of Delhi was recorded at 241 which falls under ‘very poor’ category.
The areas with worst AQI include Jahangirpuri (324), Wazirpur (329), Bawana (306), and Anand Vihar (365) as per the data provided by CPCB’s (Central Pollution Control Board) Sameer App. With the exceptions of Shadipur, NSIT Dwarka, Sri Aurobindo Marg, Lodhi Road, and DTU, the AQI has been above the 200 mark.
In NCR, Noida’s AQI remained at 270 (poor), Greater Noida at 237 (poor), Faridabad at 106, Gurugram at 225 (poor), Ghaziabad at 301 (very poor).
