PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - From frogs to raccoons to unicorns, protesters near the Portland ICE facility are finding new ways to use their voice, but with inflatable costumes.
The costumes have become so popular that more protesters show up each day wearing a new one.
“They don’t know how to react to people with humor and silliness, so why not try that?” said a woman in a frog costume on Thursday.
Portland is protesting in costume - inflatable costumes - and the number is growing by the day. The inflatable costumes have become such a staple that a group called Operation Inflation is asking for funding for more costumes for people to wear at the protests.
