Southlake Carroll 57, Northwest 7

The Northwest football team struggled against Southlake Carroll on Friday night, losing by 50 points to move to 1-4 in district competition.

Southlake Carroll jumped out to a 15-point lead in the game before Caris Sela broke an 81-yard touchdown run.

It was all Dragons from there, as Carroll scored 35 unanswered points to win the game.

Northwest (2-5, 1-4) will host Byron Nelson on Oct. 24 @ 7 p.m.

Denton Braswell 9, Flower Mound 7

The Flower Mound football team found itself on the short end of a low-scoring affair on Friday night, losing to Denton Braswell by a score of 9-7.
