A forensic psychologist, who has interviewed more mass murderers than nearly anyone else in his field, has shared the chilling question one killer posed to him mere hours after his horrific spree.
The murderer was Martin Bryant, the man behind Australia's deadliest mass shooting. At the time, he was a 28-year-old loner who kept his pet pig as his only companion.
Bryant, who found it difficult to form relationships, executed the shocking massacre in 1996, taking the lives of 35 people, including children, at Port Arthur, Tasmania.
Professor Paul E.Mullen spoke with Bryant just 48 hours later while he was restrained to a hospital bed, having been severely burned after setting a guesthouse alight in an unsuccessful suicide attempt.
