A dog was seized by police after biting its owner's hand in Bury .
Police descended on Woodhill Road , near Burrs Country Park, at around 2.30pm on Thursday afternoon (October 16).
Greater Manchester Police says the owner suffered injuries to her fingers following the incident.
Officers went on to take the dog to Bury police station, GMP says.

The woman's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Residents saw a large emergency services presence in the area, with a section of Woodhill Road closed off by police near to Brandlesholme Road.
One witness described seeing a 'big police response' with one GMP vehicle blocking off the road to traffic in both directions.
