Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge remains closed

MEDINA — The federal government shutdown has kept the National Wildlife refuges closed and affected five employees at the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge in Basom.

National Wildlife Refuge Association President and CEO Desiree Sorenson-Groves said the federal government shutdown is having impacts on National Wildlife refuges all over the country.
