Two people are dead and an investigation is underway on Friday morning outside a Walgreens pharmacy in Northwest Miami-Dade, according to images from the scene.

Video showed two bodies covered by yellow tarps at Northwest 7th Avenue and 95th Street.

At least one witness reported hearing "like six shots, coming from the Walgreens parking lot," but the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office has not released official information about what led to the deaths.

Deputies could be seen investigating a black Chevrolet Tahoe. Evidence markers lay on the ground by the driver's side, along with what appeared to be a firearm.

It was not immediately clear if authorities had detained a suspect.
