Main accused Unnikrishnan Potty

Kerala's Pathanamthitta Ranni Court on Friday sent Unnikrishnan Potty, the main accused in the Sabarimala gold theft case, to SIT remand until October 30. The SIT had taken him into custody at 2:30 AM on Thursday-Friday night.

He was arrested on Friday morning after more than 14 hours of interrogation. While being taken to court, the accused said that he had been framed by someone and the culprits would face the law. Outside the court, someone from the crowd threw a shoe at Potty. The person who threw the shoe was apprehended by the police.
