The Diplomat is back for its third season – and critics have so far been heaping praise on the new episodes.

Keri Russell returns for her third outing as ambassador Kate Wyler in the Netflix series, which also welcomes back Rufus Sewell, Rory Kinnear and Allison Janney, who joined in the second half of season two.

Of course, much has already been made of the mini- West Wing reunion in season three, which sees Allison sharing the screen with her former co-star Bradley Whitford – and impressively, the new episodes of The Diplomat have been compared favourably to the much-loved political drama.
