A jealous boyfriend launched a vile attack on a woman after stealing her keys to get into her home. In the early hours of April 10 this year, the victim was asleep when she awoke to find James Kenny standing over her.

The woman had known him for three weeks and he accused her of speaking to other men, which she denied. Having stopped the night he then left with his belongings.

The victim continued to deny his claims over the phone later and Kenny became abusive.
