A huge blaze has gutted a church building in Glasgow following an inferno in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters raced to the blaze at Christ Apostolic Church on the city's Govan Road on Friday morning. The religious building is understood to have gone up in flames overnight.
It is currently unknown if there are any injuries. Images from the scene show the inferno gripping the building near the city centre.
Flames were pictured ravaging the roof as smoke billowed into the sky.
