Nintendo is reportedly targeting to manufacture 25 million units of Nintendo Switch 2 within the next six months. The company hopes to meet its target by March 2026, closing out its fiscal year.

In a report from Bloomberg, it was claimed that Nintendo is looking to accelerate manufacturing of the Nintendo Switch 2 in the next few months. According to its sources, “asking its manufacturing partners to ramp up output” in order to help the company meet its target expectation. Nintendo expects production to ramp up in order to meet the demand for its new console over the holidays and into 2026.

Nintendo’s production of its Nintendo Switch 2 began in late 2024. Since that time, it’s been adequately meeting demand within Canada and the US.
