New Delhi: The Singapore Police Force (SPF) released an official statement after a preliminary investigation into Zubeen Garg’s death. SPF didn’t suspect any foul play in the Garg’s death case.
Garg died in Singapore on September 19. He went there for a two-day event as a cultural brand ambassador for the North East India Festival on September 20 and 21. But a day before the event, Garg went for a yacht outing with the members of the Assam Association Singapore.
The Assamese singer lost consciousness while swimming and was later declared dead at the Singapore General Hospital later that night. The hospital authorities issued the death certificate that stated ‘drowning’ as the cause of the singer’s death.
