Hearts midfielder Oisin McEntee is enjoying dealing with the raised expectations of being a player in a table-topping team.

McEntee has started 10 games since moving from Walsall to the William Hill Premiership leaders.

The 24-year-old was previously on Newcastle’s books but his first-team experience was limited to a loan spell with Morton before his three-year stint in the West Midlands.

“That is the one thing that I have noticed,” McEntee said ahead of Saturday’s trip to face Kilmarnock.

“When you are stepping on to the pitch you are expected to win every game and I think the belief in the changing room is that we can win every game. So it is that bit different.
