GREENBELT, Md. — John Bolton, the former national security adviser-turned-foe of President Trump, surrendered himself to authorities Friday morning after he was charged with unlawfully sharing and storing classified information.
Bolton arrived at the federal courthouse in Greenbelt, Md., around 8:30 a.m. He was seen entering the U.S. Marshal's office with his attorneys. He is expected to make his first court appearance later in the day.
One day earlier, a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging Bolton with 18 felonies, making him the third longtime Trump foe whom the Justice Department has recently brought charges against.
