Scots Rolling While Saluting Volleyball Seniors

On Senior Night, Highland Park fans can show their appreciation for a team on a hot streak.

The Scots – who will recognize their seniors on Friday, Oct. 17, ahead of a contest against The Colony at HPHS – won their 11 th consecutive game on Tuesday, Oct. 14, by topping Frisco Wakeland in a five-set road match.

It took one of the most determined efforts of the season for the Scots (33-8, 11-0) to keep their place as the unbeaten leaders in District 12-5A. As coach Michael Dearman said earlier in the year, the Scots would get a chance to test their mettle, and the match against Wakeland provided that occasion.

It wasn’t the first time, either. On Sept. 19, HP needed top effort for a four-set home victory against Wakeland.
