Popeyes' Cajun-style turkey, which has taken social media by storm in years past, is back and now available to order ahead of Thanksgiving.

The turkey, which is pre-cooked and pre-seasoned, can be ordered for delivery to your door or pick-up at a local Popeyes locations while supplies last.

For an alternative to a traditional homemade Thanksgiving bird, customers can thaw, heat and serve Popeyes' turkey, which arrives frozen. The 11-13 pound bird feeds 8-12 people.

The popular item typically sells out well in advance of Thanksgiving. Prices range depending on whether the turkey is delivered or picked up from a Popeyes location.

How to get Popeyes' Cajun-style turkey

Customers can order Popeyes' Cajun turkey online at turkeys.popeyes.com. The website also has cooking instructions.

The turkey can be ordered for delivery anywhere across the United States except for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Delivery orders ship between one to three business days after the order, depending on location. Orders placed near or on the weekend are shipped on Monday, per Popeyes.

How much does Popeyes' Cajun turkey cost?

The turkey costs $99 if ordered for delivery.

For pickup at Popeyes locations, the Cajun turkey costs $54.99.

Popeyes launches other holiday deals

In addition to its Cajun-style turkey, Popeyes is also running several other promotions during the holiday season, according to a news release.

  • Through Oct. 19, with any purchase, Popeyes will be giving away a free signature sauce. The new sauce, inspired by New Orleans’ Cajun flavors, blends bell pepper, celery, onion and a hint of heat.
  • Popeyes is bringing back its Big Box deal, which includes a choice of signature chicken or 3-piece tenders, two sides, a biscuit and Popeyes' new signature sauce for $6.
