Eric Trump, the second son of President Donald Trump, weighed in on his father’s hot mic moment earlier this week in Egypt, hyping up his family’s business operations and side-stepping the president’s involvement in them.

On Monday, President Trump was caught on a hot mic when speaking with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. In the conversation, Subianto asked to speak with “Eric,” likely referring to the president’s son and Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization.

Trump is heard saying, “I’ll have Eric call. Should I do that? He’s such a good boy. I’ll have Eric call.” Subianto then says, “We’ll look for a better place.”

Speaking with CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins on Thursday, Eric Trump said his father had not spoken with him yet on the matter.
