Spain remains No. 1 with world champion Argentina moving up one place to No. 2 at the expense of France, which fell one rung to No. 3 after a 2-2 draw at Iceland in World Cup qualifying.
England and Portugal are unchanged at No. 4 and 5. The Dutch climb one place to No. 6, leapfrogging Brazil, which falls one spot to No. 7. Belgium is unchanged at No. 8, while Italy moves up one rung to No. 9
Germany returns to the top 10, climbing two places from No. 12. Croatia falls two places to No. 11
The new rankings took into account 173 games across five continents.
