A Pennsylvania judge ruled Thursday that the trial of Luigi Mangione, who was arrested in connection with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, is effectively on hold. The judge explained that since Mangione remains in custody on both federal and state charges in New York and has refused to appear in court remotely, the Pennsylvania proceedings cannot move forward until he is able to appear in person. Andrea Lewis a Trial Attorney and Former Prosecutor weighs in.
