HOUSTON – Early voting in Harris County begins Monday, Oct. 20, and runs through Friday, Oct. 31, giving residents nearly two weeks to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day on Nov. 4.
The Harris County Clerk’s Office is encouraging voters to take advantage of the early voting period to help avoid long lines and make their voices heard on key local and state issues.
“This election provides Harris County voters an opportunity to shape the future of their communities and impact leadership at both the local and state levels,” Harris County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth said in a statement.
What’s on the ballot
Voters will decide on 17 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution, the race for the 18th Congressional District, Houston City Council At-Large Position 4, and other local contests
