Less than a week after being fired by Penn State, former head coach James Franklin will be back in the spotlight.
Franklin, who was fired Sunday after the Nittany Lions’ third straight loss , will appear on EPSN’s College Gameday, according to the network .
Gameday will be in Athens, Georgia, for the No. 5 Ole Miss vs. No. 9 Georgia game. The program airs from 9 a.m. to noon.
According to EPSN, Franklin will join the set live for an “exclusive” interview.
Franklin, who was in his 12th season at Penn State, was fired by athletic director Pat Kraft on Sunday after the Lions’ lost 22-21 the day before to unranked Northwestern, the second straight loss to an unranked opponent after Penn State (3-3) lost in overtime to Oregon 30-24 on Sept. 27.
