The Chatham-Kent Arts Council will add eight creative individuals to its wall of fame during an induction ceremony held Oct. 23.

The event will be held at the Chatham Cultural Centre with a reception at Studio One at 6 p.m. and the inductions at 7 p.m. Admission is pay what you will.

Previously called the CK Arts & Heroes Wall of Fame, it is now known as the Chatham-Kent Cultural Hall of Fame. The event is meant to recognize people who have contributed to the “cultural landscape” in Chatham-Kent, a news release said.

Inductees will have a permanent plaque and biography at the Hall of Fame inside the Chatham Cultural Centre.

The class of 2025 includes:

• Visual arts – Troy Brooks (Wallaceburg)

• Performing arts – Tracey Hoyt (Chatham)

• Cultural builders – Sam Pan
