FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The nationwide “No Kings” protests are scheduled for October 18, and the plans are provoking strong reactions from both sides of the political aisle.
The first iteration of “No Kings” took place back on June 14, and drew large crowds to Fargo City Hall, as well as several other locations in North Dakota.
North Dakota No Kings rally organizers say they expect an even bigger turnout this Saturday because people are feeling ignored by federal lawmakers.
Republican leadership, including Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, have referred to the protests as a “Hate America Rally”.
Meanwhile, Democratic lawmakers are calling it a lawful exercise of First Amendment Rights.
