Syracuse, N.Y. – Eight days before the start of early voting, former Onondaga County Legislature Chairman Jim Rowley has launched a write-in campaign to try to reclaim the seat he gave up two years ago .

Rowley, 64, today launched a last-minute, longshot effort to get voters to write in his name for county legislator in the 2nd district representing Clay. Rowley was chairman of the legislature when he decided not to run for re-election in 2023.
