The NBA world is only just learning about former Michigan State Spartans guard Jase Richardson and the relentless effort he brings on the court.

It’s only his first preseason as a pro and Richardson is already showcasing his spirit on the court for the Orlando Magic after being selected 25th overall in this year’s NBA Draft .

After working primarily as a scorer off the bench in his first three preseason games for the Magic, he served as a lead playmaker in their preseason-ending victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday.

Richardson tied for the team-lead in assists for the night with six off the bench, including a seated dime that drew plenty of eyes to his performance.
