SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools honored several educators who have taught in their school. Three of these teachers have collectively dedicated more than 150 years to Catholic education.

At its Legacy Gala, held Thursday, Oct. 16, Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools recognized multiple teachers who’ve dedicated time to a Catholic School education. The event was held at the Warrior Hotel in Sioux City.

Three of these educators are Pat Sitzman, Brendan Burchard and Mary Kay Augustine.

Pat Sitzman and Mary Kay Augustine both taught English at Bishop Heelan High School.
