Pierre Poilievre says he remains focused on job creation and affordability.
During a stop at Consbec on Thursday, located in the Valley East Industrial Park, the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada told workers all Canadians deserve “a great life, an affordable home, good food on a safe street, under a proud flag. That was the promise of our country.”
Flanked by Jim Belanger, MP for Sudbury East-Manitoulin-Nickel Belt, Poilievre said his party will help Canadians realize the middle-class dream.
“We need to make this country work for the people who do the work,” he told workers at Consbec. “That’s why we’re here today — to restore the Canadian promise.”
Poilievre said 10 years of Liberal governance has diluted the dream.
